RECREATIONAL WATER USE IN THE UPPER OB REGION: STATUS, PROBLEMS, PROSPECTS

Abstract
The results of a generalized analysis of recreational water use and water consumption by recreational and hospitality facilities in the Altai Territory, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions, on Lake Teletskoye in the Altai Republic in 2021-2025 are presented. According to industry policy documents in the field of tourism development in the Upper Ob regions, solutions related to the development of recreational water use and water-dependent recreational practices in the regions are identified and analyzed. Based on the analysis obtained, a number of systemic problems in the industry have been identified. To eliminate them, generalized recommendations are proposed in strategic planning documents regarding the use and protection of recreationally significant water bodies.
