About the Journal
The journal Bulletin of the Altay Branch of the Russian Geographical Society [IZVESTIÂ ALTAJSKOGO OTDELENIÂ RUSSKOGO GEOGRAFIČESKOGO OBŜESTVA (IZVESTIÂ AO RGO)] is a periodical scientific publication covering the results of research in the field of geography, geology, ecology, biogeography, natural geographical education and local history related to the activities of the Russian Geographical Society by Russian and foreign scientists and profile specialists. The founder and publisher of the journal is the Altai Territory Branch of the All-Russian Public Organisation "Russian Geographical Society". The journal has been published since 1961. The journal is registered by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Press, Television and Radio Broadcasting and Means of Mass Communications, registration certificate PI № TTU22-00790 from 31.08.2021. The journal is also registered by the International Centre for the Registration of World Periodicals: international standard serial number for the printed version - ISSN 2410-1192.
Since 2013, all full-text issues of the journal Bulletin of the Altay Branch of the Russian Geographical Society are available on the eLIBRARY.RU platform. The publication is registered in the Scientific Electronic Library CyberLeninka, all articles are assigned DOI index. The journal is indexed in RINC.

The journal publishes articles by Russian and foreign authors in Russian with translation into English, full name of authors in transliteration; article title, abstract and key words in translation, reference list in transliteration.
In addition to scientific materials concentrated in the articles on sections "Geography and Nature Management", "Geology", "Hydrology. Climate", "Ecology. Flora. Fauna", "Cartography. GIS-technologies", "Technologies of natural-geographical education", "Local lore", the journal is represented by the headings: "Pages of history", "Our jubilarians", "Reviews", etc. All scientific articles are provided with detailed information about the journal's activities. All scientific articles are provided with detailed apparatus in Russian and English.
